question: "Kayo" is an uncommon name. Can anyone verify it for me?

ReplyDeleteI am Saundy Sullivan and Phyllis and Kayo were my aunt and uncle. Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Kayo were great. I remember as a small child going to their house with my brother (Lennie) and mom and dad(Dottie) and (Bill). They would get together two or three week-ends a month to play cards. Phyllis served lots of good food and I remember the four adults always laughing, teasing and in general having of fun. Lennie and I would play with Rodney and Karen. I'm sorry to say that I have lost track of both of them.
I also remember Phyllis's sister Shirley Floor. She was always up to something and my parents always enjoyed being around her and Bob.
Thank you, Saundy, for your comments. It's always nice to find the happy stories in family history. I hope you have been able to get in touch with Rodney. Thank you for the information you gave. I was not aware that Phyllis had a sister named Shirley. Rodney told me that he is Kayo's nephew. Was Karen a niece or a daughter of Kayo and Phyllis?
